Konica Minolta Honors Commitment To A Sustainable Future
Ramsey, NJ, (April 22, 2019) - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. is committed to taking action to ensure a sustainable future for our planet.
To support this mission, Konica Minolta has partnered with the Bergen Volunteer Center to coordinate local community activities in which employees can volunteer time during their workday to “Serve the Earth” on Earth Day 2019.
On Monday, April 22, 2019, a team of Konica Minolta employees will spend the morning at the Flat Rock Brook Nature Center in Englewood, NJ to help clean up Jones Road Park Strip and install water bars on some wet sections of the trails.
Another group of employees will learn about organic sustainable farming at the Mahwah Environmental Volunteer Organization. Volunteers will assist with daily farm activities, creating raised beds and shoveling compost.
“Konica Minolta has believed in sustainability and the need for companies to create positive change for decades, long before most of the corporate world was considering the need for action,” said Allison Kern, Senior CSR and Internal Engagement Specialist, Konica Minolta. “Earth Day is just one of many opportunities we embrace in order to make a positive impact on our planet.”
Lynne Algrant, CEO of the Bergen Volunteer Center commends Konica Minolta on their dedication to serving the community. "Konica Minolta is a long-standing partner of the Bergen Volunteer Center and we are thrilled to help their employees turn their caring into meaningful impact on “Serve the Earth” day. Through the service of their talented workforce and their philanthropy, Konica Minolta is a true partner in our mission to Improve Lives and Strengthen the Community.”

Ramsey, NJ, (April 16, 2019) – Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc. is proud to announce that its Workplace Hub solution recently received the prestigious Editor’s Choice award by Managed.IT Magazine.
The magazine is the only dedicated Managed Services & Solutions magazine for IT managers and aims to provide IT decision-makers with the information they need to improve their technology management, efficiency and capabilities. With the Editor’s Choice award based on three key criteria of design, innovation, and functionality, the editor felt that Workplace Hub was a great example of combining these aspects into an exemplary solution for the workplace.
Speaking on his decision, James Goulding, Editor at Managed.IT said “It’s not easy to be truly innovative in the office solutions arena. The Workplace Hub, however, represents a significant development for Konica Minolta, their customers, channel partners and the next generation of office workers. This is a well-deserved award.”
Workplace Hub’s unique proposition is that it’s an all-in-one scalable IT solution, seamlessly integrating hardware, software and services into a multi-vendor platform. As the first entrant into this new market, Workplace Hub is a key player in the technology giant’s intent to continue their innovation legacy that dates back over 145 years, and become a leading IoT services provider.
“From the very initial idea of Workplace Hub, we knew we had the potential to disrupt traditional product categories. The challenge was not to only be a first entrant, but to produce a successful solution that simplifies IT for our customers and allows them to work smarter. With our Japanese heritage, it was important to us that the engineering and product development was high caliber, but we also wanted to make sure that the managed services and support is exceptional so that we can provide a truly all-in-one experience for the customer,” explained Dennis Curry, Konica Minolta Deputy CTO and Technology Fellow.
This recognition continues Workplace Hub’s award success, adding to its existing accolades given for its strategic brand communications and visual identity.
